Let's roll through the Bowls, all 35 of them, in chronological order (maybe). I'm going to lay out who's playing in each one and then make a prediction on who'll win. Yet again I'll point out if I put money on my own predictions my kids would starve. I heartily recommend that you don't base anything financial on my predictions!

Alright football fans, I am going to flip the script a little on what I normally do. No, I will still do a some predicitions sure to go wrong on a few of the big games. But this is a draft site, so instead of breaking down the games, I'm going to break down 5 prospects to watch for the weekend of college football.

So, week 3 is upon us and there are a few early conslusions I have come to.
There are only about ten really good teams in the country, and about 30 really average ones. I suspect by the end of the season, there will be about 4 really good teams.
The University of North Carolina is a grease fire, and they are only the beginning. Thanks to the that big dope Reggie Bush, and slightly smaller dope A.J. Green, these big programs are going to get treated like a hot girl trying to board an air plane. You are going to get over searched and feel pretty violated when you are done. I have spoken on this topic before, so I won't go into it, but honestly, all this venom for the NCAA because these idiots knowingly broke the rules. You want to whine about the rule? Go ahead, but don't use that as the basis to defend these guys.
Ah, but onto hap Continue Reading >>>
*** Firstly a note from the Editor - My apologies for the late arrival of this article. The Pitt/Utah game is already in the books but we've had some technical issues and we hope to give you a major site announcement very soon as well. A lot's been happening in the background in the run up to Week One but I can promise you we didn't re-write this article. Now over to Curt ***
College football is finally here and thank God. It couldn't come soon enough. This has been the longest offseason. I've had to deal with so much crap. From Lebron James and Tiger Woods to World Cup Soccer and all the whining that is Major League Baseball. Normally I can just tune out all the minutia but this year it was just too much to turn off.

When I am scouting linebackers, I normally don’t have a lot of trouble. I have a few groups in mind, I go back and review the games and in my observations will find a few more that are on the fringe but the list typically comes together pretty quickly. This year was much tougher. While there are only a few groups I would consider truly elite, pairing the list down to 10 was much harder than in the past. Lots of really talented players in the country and a lot of young guys who if they play up to their potential have a chance to be great.
In the final analysis, there are really only 3 groups in that elite class to be considered for the top group of linebackers in the nation. These units provide a mix of known top tier talent as well as some young players on the verge of breakout seasons.

I decided this year to take a little different approach to ranking defensive lines. On one hand you could look at stats, which is what I see a lot of pundits do. Defenses that don't allow a lot of rush yards per game get a nod. You could think about the potential NFL millionaires along the line, or you can look at the ability to rush he passer. This year, I really only had 2 lines to consider and what it ultimately came down to for me was star power.

So much to talk about this week and most of it centers on the whining and complaining in football. It's just become hard to hear, so let's dive right in.
Seems that Hazing-gate is all the rage on the internets. Long story short, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams asks Cowboys rookie Dez Bryant to carry his pads, and Bryant refuses, citing that he's there to play football not carry someone's pads.
Dez, you are an idiot. I didn't make this decision today. I didn't make it when you forgot your cleats for your pro day. It goes back further to when he was dumb enough to lose his eligibility by making a really stupid decision. A decision that he knew was wrong.
And in this long line of bad decisions, he decides to defy a veteran and not do what has become generally accepted as a right of passage for NFL rookies.
