I started putting this list together as I am prepping for the upcoming college football season. I've broken the list into 2 groups, non-conference and conference matchups. Some of these games will have BCS significance and others will be more of traditional importance, but they all look to me to be great games and well worth your time whether you are a fan of the teams or not.
Top 5 non-conference games
5. BYU at Utah September 15th-This matchup has been a tradition for many years, but since the conference changes in 2010 we've been counting down to the beginning of the end of the Holy War. This game is less about 2 great teams fighting for BCS position but marks what may be the end of a great football tradition.

Preseason Top 25
1. Alabama-Even with their losses, they are still so talented on both sides of the football.
2. USC-Probably a national title contender last year if not for their sanctions. Should be in the thick of it all year long.
3. LSU-Another team that took significant losses in terms of personnel but looks ready to reload.
4. Oklahoma-There are questions on both sides of the football, but you can’t deny the passing attack promises to be explosive.
5. Oregon-This ranking could change greatly if the Ducks struggle to find someone to step in for Darron Thomas at quarterback.

Let's roll through the Bowls, all 35 of them, in chronological order (maybe). I'm going to lay out who's playing in each one and then make a prediction on who'll win. Yet again I'll point out if I put money on my own predictions my kids would starve. I heartily recommend that you don't base anything financial on my predictions!
New Mexico Bowl
Who: BYU vs. UTEP
Winner: BYU
uDrove Humanitarian Bowl
Who: Northern Illinois vs. Fresno State
Winner: Fresno State

I, like you have been beaten over the head the past couple of days with all the talk about Auburn University Tigers phenom QB Cam Newton, and all the allegations that are coming forward ranging everywhere from cheating on tests, to stealing a laptop, to possibly accepting somewhere in the Neighborhood of $200,000 to attend Auburn over other schools. At least it has given us a break from Brett Favre and Randy Moss I suppose. But what I think is being missed in this is there are really two debates here that don’t go down the same path, for me at least.

There aren’t many weekends that I am not super excited for the weekend of college football but this happens to be one of them. Not because there aren’t going to be some great games, because once again the lineup of NCAA football is going to be spectacular. The reason I’m not as excited is because the last week or so, the whiners have been beating me down via email, Twitter, Facebook, and text message about how awful the NCAA is because they don’t pay athletes.
And if there weren’t enough, this weekend the first BCS poll comes out (which I support) and so many of those same whiners will find a way to squeeze in plenty of complaints about that as well. Sometimes people just want to find something to complain about.

I'd say most agree that this week's game of the week is No.1 ranked Alabama traveling to play the no.19 South Carolina. I just happen to disagree. Yes, the Gamecocks are better, but this Alabama team is scary good. I saw the line on this game was 10. No way the Gamecocks keep it that close.
We are going to get to see some really great running backs in this game. And for Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson it could be a huge day. Unfortunately for South Carolina's Marcus Lattimore, he's going to have to run into guys like Crimson Tide defensive lineman Marcel Dareus (who looked like a top 5 pick against Florida), LBs Dont'a Hightower, and Nico Johnson and Safetys Mark Barron and Robert Lester. As good as he may be, it's going to be a long day.
