Curt's Big 32 for the 2013 NFL Draft-UPDATED

Please keep in mind, this is my list of who I like.  This has nothing to do with predicting where they will be drafted.   If I were an NFL GM, if all positions were on the board, this would be my top 32 guys. You couldn't really go wrong with any of these guys, but don't be shocked that my order doesn't fall in line with what most believe.

Obviously I reserve the right to make changes to this as the season goes on, and it is of course a fluid list.

Predicting all the Bowl Games

Let's roll through the Bowls, all 35 of them, in chronological order (maybe). I'm going to lay out who's playing in each one and then make a prediction on who'll win. Yet again I'll point out if I put money on my own predictions my kids would starve. I heartily recommend that you don't base anything financial on my predictions!

 New Mexico Bowl
 Who: BYU vs. UTEP
 Winner: BYU

 uDrove Humanitarian Bowl
Who: Northern Illinois vs. Fresno State
 Winner: Fresno State

The Cecil and Kenny Show - The Ever Twisting Saga of Cam Newton

I, like you have been beaten over the head the past couple of days with all the talk about Auburn University Tigers phenom QB Cam Newton, and all the allegations that are coming forward ranging everywhere from cheating on tests, to stealing a laptop, to possibly accepting somewhere in the Neighborhood of $200,000 to attend Auburn over other schools.  At least it has given us a break from Brett Favre and Randy Moss I suppose.  But what I think is being missed in this is there are really two debates here that don’t go down the same path, for me at least.

Snap Judgments-Week 13 college football

College football never fails to disappoint if you are a fan. This weekend, when most non-college fans said would be a dull holiday weekend for the NCAA, it was once again incredibly exciting with top ranked teams falling in rivalry games, being pushed to overtime, and in terms of players, the Heisman Trophy picture comes into view.

I have a ton of games to comment on, so let's pop it off!!!

Snap Judgment College Football Week 11

This weekend promised big excitement and it delivered. Once again the NCAA rolled out a slate of amazing matchup and incredible performances. Some of the things that stood out to me as I poured over these games all weekend.

In the TCU/Utah game you could just see that every time Utah got a little momentum, TCU just choked it off either with a big play off defense or on offense. In my latest power poll I am going to have a hard time not just being a jerk and putting TCU in the top 2, because honestly, I don't know if there's a team in the nation that could beat them right now.

If Alabama doesn't get nailed for giving Mark Ingram special privledges not only to reward him for this year, but to also try and coax him back next year they aren't trying hard enough. I know Alabama has a great defense, b

College Football Preview Week 11

Just when I thought the season couldn't get any better, I get a gander at this weeks lineup of games.  Last weekend we saw some great upsets and the BCS picture started to shake out a little more.  This weekend a game or two could really clear things up even more.

Also, this late late in the season, I am planning to get deeper into the prospect side of the weekend.  In addition to a 5 pack of big games, I'm going to break down a ton of big prospect opportunities and matchups.

My game of the week is (25) Stanford at (11) USC.  It might not be the greatest impact in terms of the BCS but for money this is the game to watch.  USC, for whatever reason is getting way too much love from the BCS.  I'm sorry but when a team hangs half a hundred on you, then you DO NOT get BCS love!  The idea they still are is absurd to me.  Stanford is playi
